They’re around at a few museums- I saw *two* at the Petersen, one of which was a roadster! One was on loan from Tokyo though.

For years there was a guy in Maine trying to sell a pile of rust that was once one of these, I wonder if anyone bought and restored it now that they are worth more than the restoration costs.

I am - the Petersen is worth the time if you’re ever in LA. The exhibits aren’t permanent though, so what you see will vary.
A few years ago, Toyota brought one to the Chicago Auto Show, too.
